2024ジャパンオープンチアリーディング選手権大会・2024日本学生チアリーディング選手権大会＠有明コロシアムにて救護物品が活用されました
2025年1月25日（土）有明コロシアムにて開催された「2024ジャパンオープンチアリーディング選手権大会・2024日本学生チアリーディング選手権大会」にて、弊社所有の救護物品が活用されました。
競技としてのチアリーディングとは
チアリーディングといえば、日本では甲子園やプロ野球の球場にて、観客も巻き込んで試合に華を添えるものとして一般には有名です。
一方で、実はそのチアリーディングの技を競う競技大会も、アメリカやヨーロッパ、アジア、南米などの世界中で開催されています。
オリンピック種目の候補としても注目され、2017年には暫定として、2021年7月には国際チアリーディング（ICU）が正式な団体として国際オリンピック委員会（IOC）に承認されました。
チアリーディング競技は「チアリーディング」と「パフォーマンスチア」に大別され、声のみの演技や組体操、ターン・ジャンプ・トリックなどの個人技術も競われます。
競技大会では技の完成度や同調性だけでなく、表情やエネルギーなど表現力も採点対象となります。

このようにチアリーディングは組体操のような複数人で行われる技やタンブリング（バック転）やジャンプなど、アクロバティックな要素が多い競技です。
その為、救護体制のバックアップによる選手の安心・安全の確保が重要な課題です。

2024 Japan Open Cheerleading Championships & 2024 Japan College Cheerleading Championships @ Ariake Coliseum – Rescue Equipment in Action
On Saturday, January 25, 2025, rescue equipment owned by our company was utilized at the “2024 Japan Open Cheerleading Championships & 2024 Japan College Cheerleading Championships,” held at Ariake Coliseum.
Cheerleading as a Competitive Sport
In Japan, cheerleading is commonly associated with adding excitement to high school baseball tournaments at Koshien or professional baseball games—often involving spectators to enliven the atmosphere. However, competitions showcasing cheerleading skills are actually held worldwide, including in the United States, Europe, Asia, and South America.
Cheerleading has also gained attention as a potential Olympic event. It received provisional recognition in 2017, and in July 2021, the International Cheer Union (ICU) was officially recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC).
Competitive cheerleading can be broadly divided into two categories: “Cheerleading” and “Performance Cheer.” In these competitions, participants are judged on vocal performance, group stunts (similar to pyramids in gymnastics), tumbling, jumps, and other individual skills. Scoring takes into account not only the precision and synchronization of these elements, but also facial expressions, energy, and overall showmanship.

Cheerleading involves many acrobatic elements, including group stunts, tumbling (like back handsprings), and jumps—much like group gymnastics. As such, establishing a strong medical support system is essential to ensure the safety and security of the athletes.
